Green Team Meeting

Friday, September 18 at 8:15 in the Big School cafeteria

Who’s ready to compost, garden, and re-home items you’ve outgrown?  Join our launch meeting where we will share ideas for greening our amazing campuses, set goals and explore volunteer opportunities!  

This year the Green Team plans to:

-Surpass the 8,000 lbs (that’s 4 tons!) of food waste collected last year by our incredible lunchtime volunteers in our school-wide composting program.  

-Support SMS gardening initiatives including a plan for pollinator and rain gardens.

-Expand our SMS-only Buy Nothing Group.

-Host special activities like a mend cafe, campus clean ups, and clothing swaps.
