Celebrate the season with a fun, creative night out at our Pre-Mother’s Day Flower Arranging Workshop! Join us on Friday, May 8th at 7:30pm for an adults-only evening of flower arranging, wine, and delicious nibbles, hosted by Lindsey Stone.

All flowers, paper and ribbon will be provided. You're invited to bring your own special vase for your beautiful creation. 

Sip, socialize, and leave with a stunning arrangement—perfect to enjoy at home or gift for Mother’s Day. Don’t miss this lovely night in support of our school! 🌷

Come join us for 2nd Grade Olympics run by Jeff Lake Camp Director, Adam Baranker! We'll split into teams and play fun backyard games including relay races and camp-style games. This event is for 2nd grade students and their families (siblings welcome, but game portion will be for 2nd graders only). 

BYOWB (bring your own water bottle), snacks will be available! Note only 1 purchase required per family. Hosted by the Singer Family.

Kindergarten and 1st Grade families are invited to join us for a Forest School class on May 16th from 10:00–11:30 AM at the South Mountain Reservation.

Step into the magic of Maplewood Outside School—camp style! Children will have the chance to play, climb, explore, and fully immerse themselves in nature—just like a day at camp. It’s a relaxed, joy-filled time to connect, get a little muddy, and experience the wonder of outdoor learning together.

• This is not a drop-off event—all children must be accompanied by an adult
• The event will take place rain or shine
• Please bring a snack

Join Team K for a special lunchtime treat! On Thursday, May 21st, from 10:50–11:30 AM, Mrs. Watkinson, Mrs. Mondelli, Ms. Prisco, and Ms. Ciuba will host a fun and relaxed “Kindergarten Café” picnic at the Annex.

Two students from each kindergarten class (Team MW, Ciuba, and Prisco) will be invited to bring their lunch and enjoy a special time eating together, playing games, and connecting with the teachers outside the usual classroom routine.

This event will take place rain or shine—if the weather doesn’t cooperate, the fun will move indoors to a classroom.

A cozy, joy-filled break in the day with Team K—sure to be a memorable experience for our youngest learners!
