The South Mountain School (SMS) PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership volunteer organization that promotes the partnership between the families of SMS students and the teachers, administrators, and staff at our school. Our goal is to build a supportive and inclusive community that provides for the educational growth of all our students. It is our goal that every family participates so we can best serve all students and their families. 

Member benefits include:

• Access to the school directory
• Voting rights on various PTA business
• Ability to serve on the board of directors and committees
• Membership in the New Jersey PTA
• Membership in the National PTA

Membership is $10 per household for SMS families and $5 for SMS faculty and can be purchased HERE.

If you are unable to purchase a membership due to personal hardships, please contact Principal Kevin Mason (kmason@somsd.k12.nj.us), Ms. Shazaan Napoleon (snapoleo@somsd.k12.nj.us) or your students teacher.
